There are summers that seem to disappear in a flash, and this has definitely been one of them. Looking back, it feels like Team Fyn has barely stood still. We’ve travelled from one end of the Island to the other, been involved in weddings, community events and poured more drinks than we can count and we've loved every minute of it.
There’s a moment every year when you know TT has arrived. The roads change, bikes seem to appear everywhere, old friends return, new faces arrive and there’s that unmistakable buzz around the Island. We love it. But this year, even by TT standards, things felt a little different.
One of our favourite things about summer on the Isle of Man is just how much is going on, and how many opportunities there are to get out, meet people and be part of it.
As the days begin to shorten and autumn settles over the Island, we’ve been looking back at what has been a really special summer at Fynoderee.
We’re incredibly proud to share that Fynoderee is now stocked at Ruxley Manor Garden Centre in Kent. For an independent, family run, distillery from the Isle of Man, seeing our bottles on the shelves of such a well-known and respected destination is a very special moment for us.
A “Bumbee” is the Manx colloquial name for a bumblebee. In days gone by, children on the Isle of Man were told that a "Bumbee" was a bad fairy that has been turned into a bumblebee as punishment.
