We’re really missing serving our Fyn Fans deliciously crafty concoctions with a Ramsey twist. But our Distillery Shop & Bar doors are on course to swing back again next month!
Just before Lockdown 3.0 we were lucky to be able to film the build of our new “Figgins Reciprocator Dual Kettle Still System” at our distillery in Ramsey.
Last week saw the momentous sowing of a large field of “Laureate Barley” for The Fynoderee Distillery in the South of the Island by Pentti Christian of Ellerslie Farm.
Waste alcohol from our 'Fyn' production is being re-processed and recycled using our new 2000 litre iStill before we use it to develop some exciting new products.
The twin copper pots of our Figgins Reciprocator Still System are now in position and complex construction continues to build our 17 foot high stripping column that will tower between the two pots.
It’s a bittersweet irony that on the day we are back out delivering FYNITISER to a locked-down Island, the announcement of our nomination and selection as a finalist in the “Innovation & Technology” category of Extraordinary Islanders comes out!
FYNITISER IS BACK… and bundled up with everything you need to survive the Isle of Man lockdown 2.0! Fynitiser is a World Health Organisation approved formulation Hand Sanitiser produced on the Isle of Man by The Fynoderee Distillery team.
