It’s a bittersweet irony that on the day we are back out delivering FYNITISER to a locked-down Island, the announcement of our nomination (thank-you whoever did this!) and selection as a finalist in the “Innovation & Technology” category of Extraordinary Islanders comes out!
Extraordinary Islanders is an awards evening that will celebrate the Manx community and all those who stepped up to make a positive difference during the last lockdown – we feel very humbled to be included in this illustrious and worthy list of individuals, businesses, charities, and community endeavors – many of whom are stepping up again to get us all through the next (hopefully) short circuit breaker!
Our pivot to Hand Sanitiser back in March 2020 came when it became apparent that the Island was about to run out. We donated the first 600 Litres to care homes, emergency services and our local food and drink community and then ended up producing over 12k litres to fill the local shortage gap until the traditional supply chain caught up.
Many continue to use our Fynitiser to this day due to its high strength and non-sticky liquid spray format making it suitable for use on a variety of surfaces including fabric.
