Fire up your senses: it's going to be a scorcher of a night with our friends from Filbey's and FIRE ISLAND… and you're invited!
Join us for a multi-course Manx chilli tasting menu and cocktail night with a tantalising, tongue-tingling roster of dishes devised by Scott Filbey, showcasing a fine selection of Manx chillies from the Island's only chilli farm, Fire Island.
Stuart and Ruth (the team behind Red Mie and Fire Island) will be with us to talk chillis. You'll also be able to purchase their locally produced fiery little peppers, sauces, and condiments to take away on the night.
Now – if you’re anything like a few of us at Team Fyn, you might love the idea, but you're a bit worried you might not be able to handle the heat at the higher end of the 'Scoville Scale’. Fear not! We'll go gentle on those who need delicate handling.
The menu is all about the exquisite flavours in the different types of chillies, with optional explosive heat for those who can handle it!
