In addition we have donated 8 x 500ml FYNITISER trigger spray bottles - one each for the charity’s three emergency response vehicles, three Phil Hogg Motorsport Ambulances and two TT Course Helicopter Ambulances.
A yellow Rob Vine Fund Collection Pot is also now stationed in The Fyn Bar & Shop at The Fynoderee Distillery on Parsonage Road, Ramsey, so that visitors can easily donate to this very worthy cause.
ABOUT THE ROB VINE FUND:
The Rob Vine Fund (incorporating the Hogg Motorsport Association) is an Isle of Man charity that provides medical/rescue equipment and training for doctors, paramedics and volunteers for most motorsport and cycling events on the Isle of Man, including most notably the Isle of Man TT Races.
They also support events such as the Festival of Motorcycling, Southern 100 Races, Andreas Racing Association and Jurby circuit races, Southern Motor Cycle Club Enduros as well as Manx Motor Racing Club hill climbs and Onchan Raceway stock car meetings.
It is because The Rob Vine Fund (and St John Ambulance too) provides emergency service to these events, that the Island’s NHS Ambulance Service is free to focus on their normal provision of emergency care to the Island’s residents and visitors.
Each of their orange ‘Immediate Care Case’ provides basic first aid items (now including FYNITISER) for use by Marshals stationed around the course, as well as advanced life support equipment for use by the Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics and Doctors.
As we slip in to the Autumnal groove, we’re very pleased to confirm that The Fyn Bar will be remaining open every Friday and Saturday between now and Christmas!
