Both he and Co-Founder Paul had far too much fun assembling and building it… up until the point where they realised they couldn’t quite ‘get it up’ by themselves and had to enlist the help of our contractors, Mike Culshaw Builders.
This still system is the gleaming centrepiece of our award-winning craft distillery and will be put to work on our aged spirits programme to produce our groundbreaking new Fynoderee Manx Malt Whiskey and other Manx grain to bottle products presently in development.
We can’t wait to show off this new piece of spangly kit when we reopen to the public. Lockdowns this year have set things back considerably, but it’s looking good for a late June reopening of our shop, tasting bar and tours programme launch!

We have been eagerly watching the progress of the Laureate Barley grown for us by Pentti Christian at Knockrushen Farm (Scarlett) since the day it was sown back in March. Co-founder Tiffany was delighted to be there last week witnessing this historic harvest.
