We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Cocktail Bar Manager at the “Fyn Bar” – The Fynoderee Distillery’s new popular cocktail bar in Ramsey, Isle of Man.
The Fynoderee Distillery is a craft distillery producing a range of award-winning premium Manx Sprits including Gin, Vodka and Rum and will soon be producing a new world category of Whiskey. The Fyn Bar opened in July 2021 and is a 65 seat, multi-faceted distillery showcase cocktail bar, with tours hub and shop. We have very busy weekend evenings and weekday trade with tours, visits, tastings, and retail.
We are seeking a creative and charismatic mixologist with bar management experience who will relish the opportunity to create exciting and stylish cocktails showcasing Fynoderee spirits. We aim to collaborate with other local businesses to source locally grown, sustainable and seasonal drinks ingredients where possible, in line with our ethos as an UNESCO biosphere partner business, and in a way that elaborates on the Fynoderee Story and our unique Manx identity.

We are looking for somebody who is genuinely passionate about craft spirits and who will share the co-founder’s ambitions and vision for creating a very special place for the residents of the Isle of Man and our many visitors. You need to be supremely organised, amazing with people and really love what you do!
Mixology skills and good spirits knowledge are essential, and you must have at least 5 years experience at assistant management level in a busy bar to be capable of managing the Fyn Bar autonomously (albeit with the backup of an Assistant Manager and exec/office team). Good judgement and a responsible attitude towards serving alcohol is essential along with the willingness to work evenings, weekends and certain holidays.

This is a Full-Time permanent role with a starting salary of £26,000 (negotiable).
